Olivia+Michael
Traveling to the UK to photograph Olivia+Michael’s wedding was a DREAM COME TRUE. This two day event was one of the most beautiful, incredible things I’ve ever been apart of. The first day the bridal party got ready at the cutest bed and breakfast and then headed to the country where Olivia+Michael were married in the same chapel her parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents were married in. It was the oldest little chapel in the country-side filled with so much character and sentiment to Olivia. After the couple were showered with flower petals they drove away in a vintage Rolls-Royce.
The next day was the reception at Alnwick Castle. This is the same castle that parts of the first two Harry Potter films were filmed as well as scenes from Downton Abbey. Walking around the grounds felt surreal and the beauty of this location took our breath away. The couple and the entire bridal party arrived in ultimate England style within a red, double decker bus! After photos in front of the castle the whole wedding party were given A BROOMSTICK FLYING LESSON. It was as if we had stepped right into the Harry Potter books/movies. Everyone had a blast commanding their broomsticks and flying around the courtyard in true Harry Potter fashion. After the flying lesson I took formals of Olivia+Michael around the grounds. The only word I can use to describe this experience is MAGICAL. The most stunning castle, lush green grounds, and the perfect couple all wrapped up in the most unforgettable venue. After formals we headed inside the Castle to the great hall where dinner was served and then dancing with a live band. Olivia’s sister sang Olivia+Michael’s first dance song and there wasn’t a dry eye in the room. The night ended with the most fantastic live band and the bridal party danced the night away after the best couple days. I walked away from this wedding on cloud nine! I was so happy I was able to be a part of such a beautiful wedding, in such a gorgeous country with THE most kind, fun and best people. Congrats Olivia+Michael! Your wedding will always be close to my heart and an unforgettable experience!
